Redstone Wills has put in place a process which is simple and effective for both the employer and employee offering both a flex and voluntary service.

Flexible Benefits
Once the employee selects the Will as one of their flexible benefits the cost is usually spread over the 12 month benefits period and is deducted from their salary after tax but before National Insurance. The employer will act as intermediary for the service and fund the full cost of the Will upfront at the beginning of the employee benefits period recouping from the employee’s salary throughout the year.

Voluntary Benefits
Our corporate benefit packages also work on a voluntary basis where the employee can contact us at any time to take advantage of any promotion we may have in place with an employer. The employee will pay the cost of the Will direct to Redstone Wills.

What happens next?
Once we receive the schedule of employees opted in to the Will writing service as part of their flexible employee benefit, Redstone Wills will contact your employee asking for some basic information. This information is then used to allocate your employee an advisor and book them a telephone or Skype interview, home or office visit in order to take their Will instructions where full advice is provided throughout.
If your employee has selected a mirror Will for themselves and their spouse/partner, then both individuals will need to be present during the interview in order to take instructions. Once we have taken instructions we will produce the Will and any related documents with 14 working days (usually a lot sooner than this).
All of our Wills are issued with guidance and explanations of the content. In addition your employees receive 30 days after the Will is issued to make as many changes as they like, so if they change their mind or would like to add in further beneficiaries this can be done at no additional charge. In addition your employees can choose to have their Will stored with us in our secure facility for an additional charge.
